Fresh Apple Twigs - 500g bundles

To celebrate the sun coming out and also what is probably the last batch of apple we are offering a discount per bundle.

Apple twigs are THE perfect snack for your bunnies - they love the juicy cambian layer that sits just under the bark and will gnaw and strip the twigs bare.  Skinnier twigs can be eaten whole.  Apple bark and wood is full of fibre and encourages essential gnawing to keep teeth worn down as well as vital mental stimulation as it encourages their natural foraging behaviours.

500g is a good amount if you have one or two bunnies.

If possible store twigs outside with fresh air circulating.  Getting wet is not a problem and will help to keep them fresh.

Twigs can also be stored with their stems in a little water (like flowers) to keep them fresh if you do not have outside access.  Cut the wet ends off the twigs if they go mushy.

Also suitable for other small animals.

Please note that the grey fuzzy stuff on some of the twigs is a natural down and part of the tree - not mildew.  It will disappear when the tree is wet and reappear when dry.
